Brian DePalma should understand that this move borders on treason. Whether he believes it or not, he produced a multi-million dollar propaganda gem for Islamic terrorists by painting a grossly inaccurate picture of our Marine Corps and the United States military in general. The two biggest weapons for any terrorists are; the concept of terror itself (bombings, kidnappings, etc) and PROPAGANDA. This film is unequivocally a despicable piece of propaganda that militant, Islamic terrorists will use to say, "See, these are how the Americans are and how they treat poor, defenseless Muslims."

I have both friends and family who are Marines, and I feel badly that they have to endure the kind of negative characterization that DePalma is putting out there. Personally, I am an Army combat veteran that served in Iraq so I can unequivocally say that this move is a work of pure, politically motivated fiction. It is too bad that such a noted filmmaker chose this venue to air his political opinions. I will never watch a Brian DePalma film ever again unless he makes a public apology for this atrocity. I hope Mark Cuban understands that he is just as complicit in this as DePalma since Cuban funded the movie production. He is a traitor to his country, just like DePalma.

I do not use the word traitor lightly. Providing internationally distributed propaganda support to Islamic terrorists, though, is providing aid and comfort to our enemies. That is the bottom line, Mr. Cuban and Mr. DePalma. I only hope that you see the error of your ways and apologize to the American people, and especially to the United States Marine Corps.
